The Legend of Shabak
- Started the Shabak mobile site on Monday. It was a painfully long day, with work ending after 11 p.m. Finally finished on Wednesday night, then added an H5 campaign page. It was messy and took hours of changes. The game launched in the App Store at 2 p.m. Thursday. Recharge revenue was remarkably high; there really are many big spenders!
New company website launched
Two weeks of work finally reached the closing stage. Fixed the last bugs and wrapped it up on Friday.
Taiwan Baijiangxing and Korean Dota New Year sites launched
- Together these took nearly a day, including testing and debugging. The hardest part was version numbers after deploying to the CDN. Painful!
New Fight for Freedom version and Fabian feature page
- This project is painful every time. It has left me afraid even to update the server casually. So frustrating! Once again it reminded me: be careful, be careful, be careful!
Summary
Looking back at the week, work ended after 11 p.m. every day (once at midnight, when a driver accepted quickly). Sometimes no taxi accepted. What a ruthless monopoly. When will Didi have competition, or other services offer receipts? Perhaps this is all programmers want: at least a taxi after overtime, with reimbursement. I remember taking the subway after 11 p.m. a few times. Miserable!
