Xiaomi phones cannot install APKs with adb install orsudo npx react-native run-android to install APKs
- First make sure you have enabled the port with
adb reverse tcp:8081 tcp:8081, then runsudo npx react-native run-android; the following error appears:Failure [INSTALL_FAILED_USER_RESTRICTED: Install canceled by user] - Solution: on Xiaomi (Mi 8 Lite), test packages require permission to install apps over USB. Enabling developer options and connecting USB alone only allows charging. Go to Settings → Additional settings → Developer options → enable USB installation.
- Then run adb install to install the APK, or use
sudo npx react-native run-androidto install.
Some Oppo models cannot use the camera and storage

Some Android models cannot accept screen taps when debug is open
- When debug is open, do not switch screens. Keep the debug window in front and debug through the terminal (this needs two screens; otherwise it does not work).
